Flights
The best way to reach Ordos is flying to Ordos Ejin Horo Airport (DSN). There are regular flights from major Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi'an. We will arrange transportation from the airport closer to the date.
Accommodation
We have reserved room blocks at the Crowne Plaza Ordos (the wedding venue). This is the recommended place to stay for all guests. Booking details will be provided closer to the wedding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our special day
Can I bring my kids/newborn baby?
Absolutely! We would be delighted to have your children celebrate with us. This is a family-friendly event and we welcome guests of all ages.
Do I need a visa for China?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Citizens of Bulgaria and many European countries currently enjoy visa-free entry for up to 30 days. However, citizens of the USA generally DO need a visa. We strongly recommend checking with your local embassy for the latest requirements.
Any recommended trips?
China offers incredible history, nature, and culture. There are many cities worth exploring depending on your interests. Rumen particularly enjoyed Hangzhou, located near Jie's family home. It is a city that harmoniously combines breathtaking nature—featuring one of the prettiest lakes for running—with the status of a super-modern tech hub. Please note that visiting in the summer requires preparation for the humid Chinese summer.
Is there a dress code?
We invite you to wear any formal attire you would choose for a Western or Chinese wedding. Whether you prefer Western formal wear or traditional Chinese attire, we are happy for you to dress in whatever makes you feel celebratory!
Wow, how did you build this website?
This website is Rumen's vibe coding project. Antigravity is the current tool of choice for its development.
